DGCA regulations, safety norms, drone categories & applications
Aerodynamics of fixed-wing & rotorcraft, introduction to simulators.
Drone anatomy, frame setup, motors & propeller installation
ESC wiring, radio setup, binding transmitter & receiver
Flight controller basics (Pixhawk/KK/Betaflight), firmware installation, calibration
Batteries, charging safety, common wiring/assembly issues
Pre-flight checks, take-off & landing, hovering practice
GPS hold, waypoint navigation, emergency handling.
Theory + Practical flying test. Mini team project (e.g., aerial mapping / inspection demo).

- Guided drone assembly (frame, motor, controller).
- Flight controller setup, calibration & troubleshooting
- Pre-flight & post-flight checks.
- Hands-on flying: hovering, maneuvering, landing.
- Final assessment & certification

- Theory Test (MCQs): 20 questions (30%)
- Practical Test (Flying Skills): 50%
- Mini Project / Team Task: 20%
- Passing Criteria: 70% overall
